This year’s ticket sales will help cover treatment for six St. Jude patients. The treatments for pediatric cancer can last up to three years or more and cost on average $425,000, not including housing, travel, and food. San Antonio is among more than 40 cities across the country that participate in this campaign that began 31 years ago. It’s just one of the fundraisers that makes it possible for the research hospital to provide patients with free cancer treatments, and for the organization to continue its life-saving research.
According to stjude.org, cancer is diagnosed each year in about 400,000 children and adolescents ages 19 and younger worldwide. Since its doors opened in 1962, St. Jude has worked to find cures for childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Since 2007, De Young Properties has been a sponsor of 16 St. Jude homes, helping to raise over $15.5 million to help the kids of St. Jude fight cancer and other life-threatening childhood diseases. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to St. Jude, which works around the clock to develop cures to save the lives of boys and girls, including children in the San Joaquin Valley. The prime location of the 2022 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house is located within a well-established neighborhood featuring the new Jerry De Young Park and Jerry De Young Raceway.

The buildings was modified and plastered in the 19th century. Dialing code0187Stellendam is a village in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee, and lies about 9 km west of Hellevoetsluis. San Antonio veteran Jerry Wright was the winner of the 2020 San Antonio St. Jude Dream Home®Giveaway.
The dam refers to the Statendam which was constructed in 1751. In 1780, the Eendrachtspolder was enclosed by a dike, and shortly after a courthouse was constructed in Stellendam. The home on Arden Drive will be loaded with custom features and is just under 2,800 square feet. It includes three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths, and unique touches like a keeping room off the kitchen and a sitting room off the main bedroom.

In addition, thousands of visitors toured the home leading up to the ticket drawing. Our community should be applauded for using their hard-earned dollars to support this important cause. The 26,000 tickets were sold to raise a record $2.6 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Those who purchased a $100 ticket are eligible to win prizes including a four-bedroom house built by Centex. The home at 6223 Antares is in the Estrella on Rittiman neighborhood in northeast San Antonio. All winners will be revealed on Oct. 28 during a live broadcast on WOAI News 4 San Antonio.

Those 26,000 tickets raised a record $2.6 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Last year, WBTV viewers helped set a record by selling out all of the 22,500 available tickets in just nine days. The village was first mentioned around 1750 as "'t Stelle Gors". The current name is a combination of "dam" and "small terps on a shoal which shepherds to use in case of floods".
